How to use the on-screen keyboard on a touch screen

I use a Windows tablet or a touchscreen monitor. The default Microsoft touch keyboard is too small and lacks the keys I need. Can Comfort On-Screen Keyboard Pro replace it?

Yes. Comfort On-Screen Keyboard Pro is built around finger input from the start.

  1. Open Settings > On-Screen Keyboard and pick a touch-friendly layout (for example, Touch screen or one of the tablet templates).
  2. Increase the keyboard size and the spacing between keys so they are easy to hit with a finger.
  3. Turn on Show key on press in the visual options to get a visual confirmation similar to a smartphone keyboard.
  4. Enable Auto-repeat and Sticky modifiers for one-finger typing of Shift, Ctrl, Alt combinations.
